If the 2018 edition was the Lupo, the 2019 edition will be the edition of the Tree, as a tribute to what happened to our woods. But it will also be the edition of the revolution: after three years of running-in, Michela and I realized that the project was moving further and further away from what was, and is, our original idea: no frills, mountain trail of the right ones, no mental saws, freedom, nature, enthusiasm for the stars. Point.
First of all, space to the main thing: the track.
Yes, because in spite of what many think, tracing is not exactly bullshit. Let me be clear, the doctor does not order it. Indeed, in all honesty it is precisely for the emotions it gives us to trace that we continue to organize. But it is good to know that, to do it, especially in the mountains, you have to try the traits endlessly, you have to understand at what time of the lap, presumably, that particular segment will be addressed. We must explore, very often on foot, with machete, rake, pickaxe. Even more often, you have to go home with the pive in the bag because what is put down on paper, in the field is totally impractical. Tracing means, at least for us, to try out tracts of which there is no - cyclically - no relation on google, it means to restructure and recover old abandoned tracks. In short, it is cool, but it is a "job" that lasts a year, from one edition to another, also because of the snow that hides everything in the winter months. A complicated affair, especially as a result of the events of last October that have torn our woods. Suddenly we found ourselves starting from the beginning. What we had already traced and tried, was no longer good. But we did not lose heart thanks to the support of many of you. And here is a fresh fresh track. When you walk through it, remember what happened. The woods will not be the same and, almost certainly, not even the paths and roads. Some mounts / disassembles more is to be taken into account.

ITINERARY
This time, for the first time, the track has been designed according to our inclinations without asking too many questions about how it will be judged and without asking too much if it will satisfy everyone's palates. It's not a trail, it's not a gravelly, it's not the apple orchards and it's not even a picnic. To us, they also stewed the definitions of usupported and so on. Tracks6000 is, as mentioned, an alpine turnaround where you have to get by yourself. It's a wonderful event, in practice. But if you are looking for comfort along the way or stuff that is not very demanding, I think you have to look elsewhere: in these times the proposal is very varied.
They will be more or less 150 km and 6,350 m in altitude. Maybe something more, maybe something less, based on the possible last-minute variations. Eye, however, because this year there will be a bit 'to push (probably forty minutes in total and concentrated, almost totally, in the first part of the path). Do not come with the dancers, then. And do not even say we did not tell you. Be aware, however, that even the pushed sections have their own logic. We are not interested in making you struggle to compete in the special ranking of the hardest event. We want to unite, chained valleys by digging over 2000 meters: only for this reason, sometimes, goes. There will be no further anticipations of the right path to keep adrenaline and suspense high. At an organizational level, we can anticipate that the tour is circular, as for the previous edition we will start from the Carlettini Refuge in Val Campelle (Scurelle, TN).
BICYCLE
Do not ask us with which of the thousands of mountain bikes to come: go up with what you have and do not think about it too much. If this is a matter of course, it is clear that it will be something challenging but not extreme or even impossible: in line with the editions of the past years.
SUBSCRIPTION
The cost of registration is of the usual 25 euros, a valid figure, however, for the entire period in which the registrations will be open (March 1 - June 30, 2019). No more increases depending on the membership period. In the quota you will have, in addition to the obvious things, such as a very cool track, even the insurance, a souvenir sticker to put on your bike or your refrigerator, the tag for the possible Audax patent (in case you want to get it by completing the girazzo within a certain number of hours), something else very cute and symbolic to remember adventure and a pat on the shoulder, beautiful fixed. That's enough. If you come for the welcome package, then, I think you fall badly.
CLOSED NUMBER
Last but not least, this year, in total countertendency, we have also decided to limit the number of members to 100. Eye, because when you get to 100 it really closes. There is not the friend of the friend who holds it and not even the cousin's cousin, if that's the case. Then if you call us Matt Hunter last, let's see. If you are wondering the meaning of the closed number, we explain it to you immediately: the Tracks6000 has no commercial purpose, it is not born to derive money but it is born only and exclusively to let live great emotions in uncontaminated places. Common sense requires us to preserve this uncontamination, such uniqueness and territorial integrity. One hundred people, also because of their past experiences, seem, in this sense, to be reasonable and above all sustainable.
